Pool Cleaning Services Treasure Island, FL

Canal-front and Gulf-side pool care, week after week

Treasure Island stretches along Gulf Boulevard with the Gulf on one side and a web of bay-side canals on the other. A lot of homes here have a pool, a dock and a boat lift in the same backyard, and all of it lives in salt air.

Palmway Pools handles pool service in Treasure Island for homeowners, snowbirds and rental owners. Our technicians clean weekly, care for spas and hot tubs and repair pool equipment, and every visit ends with a photo report you can open from anywhere.

Palmway Pools serves Treasure Island as part of our Pinellas County pool service area. Call 844-307-1680 or book online.

Services for Treasure Island Pools

Here is how our core services apply to homes on this barrier island.

Weekly Pool Cleaning

We skim, brush, vacuum, empty baskets, check filter pressure and balance chemistry on every visit. On the island, vacuuming out drifted sand and brushing the waterline get extra attention.

Pool Care Between the Gulf and the Bay

Few places in Pinellas are as exposed as a barrier island. Wind moves sand from the beach into pools, and salt in the air leaves a crust on equipment and screens. Homes on the canals deal with humidity and spray from the bay side, while Gulf-front homes catch the stronger onshore breeze.

Treasure Island is also low and close to sea level, so tropical storms can bring flooding and debris. After storms, pools often need debris removal, equipment checks and a chemistry reset. In calmer months, the issue is steady sun and heavy use, which together use up chlorine quickly.

  • Sand drift from the beach into pools
  • Salt crust on screens, heaters and pump housings
  • Storm surge and flood cleanup concerns
  • Snowbird homes that sit empty for months
  • Weekend boating and beach crowds using the spa

Neighborhoods and ZIP Codes We Serve in Treasure Island

Our route covers the whole island, including these areas.

  • Sunset Beach: At the island’s south end, Sunset Beach homes sit close to the Gulf and catch steady wind and sand.
  • Isle of Capri: This bay-side area of finger islands is lined with canal homes whose pools share the yard with docks and seawalls.
  • Paradise Island: Another bay-side canal neighborhood, where pools face humidity and salt spray coming off Boca Ciega Bay.

ZIP codes: All of Treasure Island falls in ZIP 33706, which we serve. Give us a ring at 844-307-1680 or begin an online booking and we will verify your address.

Our Visit, Step by Step

The same seven steps on every visit mean your pool gets full service whether it is your full-time home or a rental between guests.

  1. First look. We assess the water, surfaces and equipment and note storm damage or new problems.
  2. Surface skim. Leaves, bugs and blown-in debris are skimmed away.
  3. Wall and tile brushing. We brush walls, steps and tile to keep algae and scale from forming.
  4. Floor vacuuming. Sand and sediment are pulled off the bottom.
  5. Basket check. The skimmer basket and pump strainer basket are dumped and rinsed.
  6. Equipment review. We check filter pressure and inspect pumps, heaters and salt cells for corrosion.
  7. Chemistry and photos. Water is tested and dosed, and the visit is photographed for your records.

Why Treasure Island Owners Trust Us With Their Pools

Owners who spend part of the year up north need someone dependable. We keep a regular schedule and, whenever possible, the same technician, so your pool is cared for by someone who knows its quirks.

Our reports include photos of the water and notes about equipment. If salt air is starting to corrode a part, you will know before it fails during your busy rental season.

Treasure Island Pool Service FAQs

I live up north part of the year. Can you look after my Treasure Island pool?2026-10-08T09:00:00-04:00

Yes. Many of our island customers are seasonal. We keep weekly visits going while you are away and send a photo report after each one, so you can see the water and equipment from home. If we find a problem, such as a failing pump or a torn screen, we let you know so you can approve a repair.

My pool is next to my dock and seawall. Does that change the service?2026-10-08T09:01:00-04:00

Canal-front pools take on more salt spray and humidity from the bay, and equipment pads near seawalls corrode faster. The cleaning routine is the same, but we watch fittings, heater panels and pump motors closely and keep chemistry balanced so salt and debris do not throw it off between visits.

What happens after a tropical storm or flooding on the island?2026-10-08T09:02:00-04:00

Once it is safe to return, we remove debris, check that pumps and heaters run properly and rebalance water that rain or surge may have contaminated. If equipment was underwater, it should be inspected before running, and we can help assess it.

Do you clean hot tubs at Treasure Island rentals?2026-10-08T09:03:00-04:00

Yes. Rental hot tubs on the island get heavy use after beach and boating days and need regular filter cleaning and sanitizer adjustment. We schedule around turnovers where possible, wipe the waterline and photograph the tub so owners can confirm it is ready before the next group checks in.

Can I switch to bi-weekly service in the off season?2026-10-08T09:04:00-04:00

If your pool sees light use in the cooler months, a bi-weekly plan may work. Island pools still face sun, wind and blowing sand, so they can slip faster than inland pools. After a few visits, we will tell you honestly whether bi-weekly is enough for your pool or whether weekly service is safer.

Does salt in the air affect my saltwater pool?2026-10-08T09:05:00-04:00

Salt air does not add meaningful salt to your water, but it does wear on the salt cell housing, wiring and nearby equipment. We inspect and clean salt cells to remove scale, confirm they are producing chlorine and keep the water balanced so the cell does not work harder than it needs to.
