Manatee County has just about every kind of pool a Florida technician can run into. There are 1960s plaster pools under old oaks in Bradenton, salt systems behind brand new homes east of I-75, and rental pools on Anna Maria Island that get swum in hard every week of the year. Palmway Pools services all of them, with a set weekly route, a consistent technician and a written report with photos after each stop.
As a local, licensed and fully insured team, our work covers routine cleaning, spa and hot tub care, equipment repair and vacation rental pools. Call 844-307-1680 any day between 9 AM and 5 PM, or book online and we will confirm your address is on our Manatee County route.

What Manatee County Does to a Pool
The county stretches from Gulf beaches to inland pastureland, and pool problems change along the way. Barrier island pools collect sand and salt spray, riverfront homes deal with humidity and leaf drop, and newer communities east of I-75 rely on variable speed pumps that need correct settings.
Summer is the real test. Afternoon thunderstorms dilute chemistry and wash debris into the water, while strong sun burns off free chlorine within hours, so weekly testing is the surest defense against algae.
- Spring oak pollen that coats the surface and clogs skimmer baskets
- Rainy season storms that knock chemistry off balance overnight
- Salt air and blowing sand near the Gulf and Tampa Bay
- Calcium scaling on salt cells in heavily used systems
- Hurricane season cleanup after storms push debris into pools
Pool Services Available Across Manatee County
Weekly Pool Cleaning
Each weekly visit follows a seven step routine: inspect, skim, brush, vacuum, empty baskets, check filter pressure and equipment, then test and balance the water. Owners who rarely swim can ask about a bi-weekly schedule instead.
Spa & Hot Tub Cleaning
Attached spas and standalone hot tubs run hot and turn over chemistry fast. We clean, sanitize and balance them so they are ready when you want to use them.
Pool Equipment Repair
We diagnose and repair pumps, filters, heaters, salt cells and automation systems. Small issues we spot on routine visits get flagged in your report before they turn into failures.
Vacation Rental Pool Care
Rental pools on the islands and on the mainland get scheduled around guest turnover. Owners and managers get a photo report after each visit to show the pool was serviced.
What Our Customers Say

“I recently switched my service from a reputable and reliable Pool cleaning service company to Palmway Pools due to scheduling conflict. Palmway Pools was able to accommodate the request. I went with then due to positive reviews. I was a little worried as we've never had issues with ensuring the pool had no issues. It's been almost a month and we've been happy with the service received. They give you detailed info on…”

Manatee County Pool Service FAQs
We cover 34201, 34202, 34203, 34204, 34205, 34207, 34208, 34209, 34210, 34211, 34212, 34215, 34216, 34217, 34221, 34222, 34228 and 34243. That includes Bradenton, the Manatee side of Lakewood Ranch, Cortez, Anna Maria Island, Palmetto, Ellenton, Longboat Key, Whitfield and Tallevast. Parrish, Myakka City, Duette and Lakewood Ranch 34240 are outside our route.
Not at this time. Parrish (34219), Myakka City and Duette are outside the area our technicians cover, and so is the Sarasota County side of Lakewood Ranch in 34240. We would rather be upfront than accept a pool we cannot visit reliably every week. If you live close to the edge of our area, call 844-307-1680 and we can check your exact address.
Island pools take on more sand, salt spray and wind blown debris, and many are rentals with heavy bather loads, so chemistry swings faster. Inland pools in newer communities usually sit under screen enclosures and deal more with pollen, storm runoff and equipment settings. Our technicians adjust the routine to the pool rather than running the same checklist without thinking.
Whenever we can, the same technician handles your pool each week. Someone who sees your pool each week learns how it behaves, how your equipment sounds and where debris collects. That familiarity makes small changes, like a pump running louder or a tile line starting to scale, much easier to catch early.
After a storm passes and roads are safe, we focus on clearing debris, checking that equipment survived any flooding or power surges, and rebalancing water that has been diluted by heavy rain. Do not run a pump that was underwater until it has been inspected.
Yes. Standalone hot tubs on lanais, patios and decks are part of our Manatee County work, alongside pool-and-spa combinations. Small water volume and high temperatures mean a hot tub needs its sanitizer and filter watched closely, and we treat it as its own job rather than an afterthought.
