Palmway Pools takes care of residential pools, spas and hot tubs across the northern half of Sarasota County. Our routes run through the city of Sarasota west of I-75, out across the causeways to Siesta Key and Lido Key, and south along US 41 into Osprey. If you own a pool here, you already know how fast Florida conditions can turn clear water green.
We are a local, licensed and fully insured pool cleaning company. Each visit follows the same seven steps, we try to keep the same technician on your pool every week, and you get a written service report with photos when we finish. You can call 844-307-1680 any day from 9 AM to 5 PM or book online.

What Sarasota County Weather Does to a Pool
The coast here is hard on pool water in predictable ways. Summer sun burns off unprotected chlorine within hours, and the afternoon storms that roll in off the Gulf dump rain, dilute chemistry and blow debris through screen enclosures. Hurricane season adds the risk of a pool full of fronds, sand and runoff after a single night.
Spring brings its own problem: oak tassels and pine pollen settle as a yellow film on the surface and clog skimmer baskets. On the islands, salt air corrodes equipment fittings and wind pushes beach sand into the deep end. A weekly visit catches all of this before it turns into an algae bloom or a burned-out pump.
- Chlorine loss from strong summer sun and heat
- Rain dilution after afternoon thunderstorms
- Spring tassels from live oaks
- Salt air corrosion on barrier island equipment
- Screen enclosure debris after high winds
- Calcium scaling on saltwater chlorinator cells
Pool Services Offered Across Sarasota County
Weekly Pool Cleaning
Our weekly visits cover skimming, brushing walls, steps and tile, vacuuming, emptying baskets, checking filter pressure and balancing chemistry. Low-use pools, such as seasonal homes, can go on a bi-weekly plan instead.
Spa & Hot Tub Cleaning
Attached spas and freestanding hot tubs run hot and concentrate contaminants quickly. We clean, test and balance them so they stay comfortable and sanitary between soaks.
Pool Equipment Repair
Pumps, filters, heaters, salt cells and automation panels are all part of what we diagnose and fix. Because our techs check equipment on every visit, small leaks and pressure changes get flagged early.
Vacation Rental Pool Care
Short-term rentals on Siesta Key, Lido Key and around Sarasota need a pool that is ready for every check-in. We schedule around turnovers and send photo reports so owners and managers can see the result remotely.

Yes. Many Sarasota County owners leave for months at a time, and an unattended pool can go green in a week of July heat. We keep the regular schedule running while you are away, and the photo report after each visit lets you see the water, tile and equipment from wherever you are.
It can be for a pool that is screened, lightly used and well shaded. Pools exposed to heavy sun, trees or frequent swimmers usually need weekly service, especially from late spring through the end of hurricane season. We can look at your setup and recommend the schedule that will actually keep the water balanced.
Storms bring heavy rain, debris and sometimes torn screen panels. Rain dilutes sanitizer and can push the water level high enough to affect the skimmer. On our next visit we clear debris, check the equipment for problems and rebalance chemistry. If you notice damage before then, call 844-307-1680 and we will work you into the schedule as soon as we reasonably can.
Yes. Palmer Ranch, The Meadows and many other Sarasota communities have gate access, vehicle and service hour rules. Let us know the requirements when you book, and we will plan visits to fit them. Our hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week.
Book online through our schedule service page or call 844-307-1680. We confirm your address is inside our service area, ask about your pool, spa and equipment, and set a regular day for your visits. Your first report with photos arrives after that initial service.
