Pool Cleaning Services Tampa, FL

Weekly pool service for central, west and east Tampa homes

A Tampa backyard pool rarely gets a break. Oaks shed much of the year, pollen arrives in late winter, and summer storms can drop serious rain in under an hour. Palmway Pools provides weekly pool service across central, west and east Tampa so you can swim without spending weekends with a skimmer net.

Licensed, fully insured and based in the area, we run every visit through a structured seven-step routine and follow up with a photo report. When a pump, filter, heater or salt cell starts to struggle, the same team can repair it.

Palmway Pools serves Tampa as part of our Hillsborough County pool service area. Call 844-307-1680 or book online.

Pool, Spa and Repair Services for Tampa Homes

Tampa has everything from 1950s pools in Forest Hills to new plunge pools on infill lots near downtown, and our services adapt to the pool you have.

Weekly Pool Cleaning

We skim, brush walls, steps and tile, vacuum, empty skimmer and pump baskets, check filter pressure and balance the water. Pools under heavy oak cover in Seminole Heights or Tampa Heights benefit most from a weekly visit, while a lightly used screened pool may suit a bi-weekly plan.

Spa & Hot Tub Cleaning

Many Tampa homes pair a pool with a spillover spa or have a freestanding hot tub on the patio. We test and treat that water separately, since hot, small volumes lose sanitizer quickly and scale faster.

Pool Equipment Repair

Older Tampa pools often run original plumbing with replacement pumps and filters added over the years. We troubleshoot and repair pumps, filters, heaters, salt cells and automation so the whole system works together.

Vacation Rental Pool Care

Rental homes near downtown, Ybor City and Westshore draw guests who expect a ready pool. We work around your check-in calendar and send photos so you know the pool is guest-ready.

Pool Conditions We See Across Tampa

Much of central Tampa was built out decades ago, so mature trees are the norm. Live oaks drop leaves and small debris in bursts, and Spanish moss finds its way into skimmers. In those yards a clogged skimmer basket can cut circulation in a few days, which is how a clear pool turns cloudy over a long weekend.

Homes around Rocky Point and Town ‘n’ Country catch breezes off Old Tampa Bay. East of downtown, many pools sit in open, sunny yards where chlorine burns off quickly in July and August.

  • Oak leaves and Spanish moss in historic neighborhoods
  • Aging plaster and tile on mid-century pools
  • Full-sun pools that lose chlorine fast in summer
  • Breezy bayside lots near Rocky Point and Westshore

Neighborhoods and ZIP Codes We Serve in Tampa

Our Tampa routes cover the city’s core and its west and east sides. South Tampa has its own page, and the northern part of the city is outside our service area.

  • Downtown / Channelside (33602): Townhome courtyard pools near the Garrison Channel need debris control in tight spaces.
  • Tampa Heights (33602): Restored homes near the Hillsborough River often have smaller pools added to older lots, where oak debris is a constant.
  • Seminole Heights (33603): Craftsman bungalows under large live oaks mean skimmer baskets fill quickly and brushing matters to keep staining away.
  • Sulphur Springs (33604): Tree cover along the river keeps leaf litter coming.
  • Ybor City (33605): Courtyard and plunge pools in the historic district have small footprints where circulation matters.
  • Westshore (33609): Homes near the business district and the bay get steady breezes that push debris into screened and open pools alike.
  • Rocky Point (33607): Waterfront homes off the Courtney Campbell Causeway face salt air that is tough on metal equipment and fittings.
  • Egypt Lake-Leto (33614): Established ranch-style homes with screened pools often need filter and pump attention as equipment ages.
  • Town ‘n’ Country (33615, 33634): Suburban pools close to Tampa International Airport and Old Tampa Bay; the 33635 side of the area is not on our route.
  • Palm River-Clair Mel (33619): Homes near McKay Bay and the Tampa Bypass Canal deal with humidity, insects and windblown debris.

ZIP codes: We serve Tampa ZIP codes 33602, 33603, 33604, 33605, 33606, 33607, 33609, 33610, 33614, 33615, 33619 and 33634, plus South Tampa on its own page. North Tampa, USF, Carrollwood, Northdale, the Westchase side, Temple Terrace and New Tampa (33612, 33613, 33617, 33618, 33620, 33624, 33625, 33626, 33635, 33637, 33647) are outside our area, so call 844-307-1680 or book online to confirm your address.

How a Weekly Visit Works in Tampa

Each visit follows the same order, which keeps results consistent from one week to the next and makes problems easier to spot.

  1. Inspect. Your tech walks the pool and equipment area, looking at water clarity, water level and anything out of place.
  2. Skim and brush. Floating debris comes off the surface, then walls, steps and tile are brushed to keep algae from taking hold.
  3. Vacuum. Leaves and silt that sank to the floor are vacuumed out, which matters in tree-heavy Tampa yards.
  4. Baskets and filter. Both baskets get dumped, and a quick read of the filter gauge tells us whether circulation is healthy.
  5. Test and balance. Chemistry is tested and adjusted, then you receive a photo report of the visit.

Why Tampa Homeowners Choose Palmway Pools

Consistency is what people tell us they were missing. We keep the same technician on your pool whenever possible, keep a reliable schedule and document every visit with photos.

One call covers a cloudy pool, a tripping heater or a salt cell that stopped producing chlorine.

Tampa Pool Service FAQs

Do you cover all of Tampa?2026-10-08T09:00:00-04:00

No. Our Tampa routes include central, west and east Tampa plus South Tampa. We do not currently service North Tampa, the USF area, Carrollwood, Northdale, the Westchase side, Temple Terrace or New Tampa, which covers ZIP codes 33612, 33613, 33617, 33618, 33620, 33624, 33625, 33626, 33635, 33637 and 33647. If you live near a boundary, call 844-307-1680 and we will check your street.

My Seminole Heights pool is under big oaks. Is weekly service enough?2026-10-08T09:01:00-04:00

For most tree-covered pools, a weekly visit keeps things under control as long as the skimmer and pump baskets can hold the debris in between. During heavy leaf drop you may want to empty the skimmer basket yourself once midweek. Our tech will tell you if your setup needs a leaf canister or other changes to help.

Can you work on an older pool with original equipment?2026-10-08T09:02:00-04:00

Yes. Plenty of pools in Forest Hills, Egypt Lake-Leto and Tampa Heights have been running for decades. We service and repair pumps, filters and heaters on older systems and will let you know honestly when a part is past repair. The photo report helps you see what we are seeing.

How quickly does chlorine disappear in a Tampa summer?2026-10-08T09:03:00-04:00

Faster than most people expect. Strong sun, warm water and frequent swimming all use up chlorine, and an afternoon downpour dilutes what is left. That is why we test and balance at every visit during the hot months and adjust stabilizer so the chlorine you add actually lasts.

Do you service pools at Tampa short-term rentals?2026-10-08T09:04:00-04:00

We do. Rental hosts near downtown, Ybor City and Westshore use our weekly service and time visits around guest stays. The photo report gives you a quick record of the pool’s condition, which is useful if a guest raises a concern.

Can I book Tampa pool service online?2026-10-08T09:05:00-04:00

Yes. Use our online scheduling page to choose weekly cleaning, spa service or a repair visit and enter your address. We will confirm that your ZIP is on our Tampa route, then set your service day. You can also call 844-307-1680 seven days a week, 9 AM to 5 PM.
